Fragrant flowers in rounded clusters; flowers are pink in bud, opening to white (mid-spring); fruit change from red to black in late summer (usually borne in small quantities); autumn color is wine red, but not consistent from year to year.
Full sun to partial shade; moist, well drained soil is best; prefers acid soil, but tolerates alkaline soil.
Viburnums tend to be multi-season plants with ornamental value throughout a large part of the season.
