Clusters of creamy white flowers in mid to late summer; pods (constricted between the seeds) from late summer into autumn.

Culture

Full sun; moist, well drained soil; tolerates heat and drought.

Notes

Fallen flowers can stain sidewalks.  Fruit pods can also be a litter problem.  Winter dieback on stems can be seen in zone 5.
