Clusters of white flowers with a fringe-like appearance in late spring; female plants produce small, dark blue fruit.
Full sun to partial shade; moist, fertile soils; prefers a slightly acid pH; tolerates wet sites.
Separate male and female shrubs, both flower well. Fruit will be produced only when both genders are present. This plant can be used as a large shrub or small tree.
Rounded to irregular and open.
