Small clusters of white flowers in late spring; red-orange berries in late summer and autumn; gold to orange fall color.

Culture

Full sun; moist, well drained soil; tolerates alkaline soil.

Notes

Most species of mountainash are very suscptible to borer; this species shows good resistance to that pest. Leaves are simple (mountainashes usually have compound leaves).
